2 things about the test tomorrow.

1) Your study guides are due. Since we only did section 7.2-7.5, that's all you have to do in the study guide. The reason that I give you more is so that students who would like a challenge can try some of the other sections on their own.

2) Think about how you would set up a word problem involving a ladder leaning against a wall...just saying...

As of right now, iPass appears to be down.  Your Chapter 10 quizzes are graded, but I can't put the grades up until iPass is back up and running.  Just keep checking back.

CALCULATORS!!

This is a friendly reminder that calculators are REQUIRED for this class. As I told you on the first day of school, being prepared for class (having a calculator) is part of your class participation grade. We are now entering the part of the year where calculators will be necessary to complete classwork and homework. Up until now, many students may have been able to do the calculations in their head, but now it's going to be very difficult to do that.  Plus calculator skills are very important for Algebra II next year.

I will be doing calculator checks EVERY class. So make sure you have one. Here is a link to where you can buy the calculator that I think is best. Staples
